Michelle Wickwar – Director
Michelle was born on the West Coast of Scotland where her father was serving in the Royal Navy. On him leaving the Navy they settled back in Maidstone, Kent from where the family originated. Michelle moved to Harrow to work in 1998 and subsequently moved to South Buckinghamshire in 2007.
Michelle has worked in accountancy practices since leaving grammar school and gained her ACCA qualification in 2002. She joined Sproull & Co. as Audit Manager on 31st July 2006. She became Associate Audit Principal on 1st May 2012 and then became a full shareholding director in October 2015.
During her career thus far, Michelle has gained experience in various areas of accounts, audit and taxation including:
- Family Businesses including partnerships, LLPs and limited companies
- UK subsidiaries and branches of international companies
- UK parent companies with overseas subsidiaries
- Charities
- Residential service charge trusts
- Pension Schemes
- Solicitors including SRA Accountant’s Reports
- Other regulated businesses including Financial Conduct Authority
- Management Accounting
- Systems development and implementation
- IR35 legislation
Her portfolio of clients covers a wide variety of sectors including, but not limited to, retail, IT, media and entertainment, engineering, recruitment and construction industries.
Michelle’s interests outside of work include spending time with family and friends, photography and travelling.
